blue is the new black?

I have something to admit. When the weather goes cold and the sun refuses to peak out, I fade to black. I am the girl whose winter wardrobe is all-black. Particularly when I have limited time to get dressed I throw on black skinny jeanss or black spandexs and usually a black top. My efforts to add a pop of color is in the form of a leopard flats or colored tops. Well.... this winter something changed:

My all-black wardrobe has been transformed to... all blue? perhaps the emergence of the denim on denim trend or my conscious effort to add more color into my wardrobe has fueled this change but dare I say I like it? 

My effort to add more color is not limited to blue. I personally love the whole monochrome color trend but my lack of diversity in colors in my wardrobe has left my ability to pull off the monochrome look very limited. So for now... blue is the new black. Small steps.
